Hi guys ! I'm originally from NW Arkansas, but I'm up near KC for the moment. I was raised on Beaver Lake; and usually compete in the tournaments. I'm also a lifetime member of the Bassin Belles. I usually make the trip down there when the fish are biting; but someplace closer to home would be nice. I love to go after the kitty-cats as well. I'm near the Missouri River here, but haven't really fished it yet. .......something about that river at night,....alone..... I'll have to pass without a buddy. But I've seen some monster cats come out there at Lexington. Just pass the hush puppies and the pickled green tomatoes ! I've tried just about every cat bait there is at one time or another... Anyone have a Catalpa tree around here ?? They just love those nasty worms.

Glad to have you with us.I have one son (Ozark Kitty Chaser)who just moved out of the KC area and I have another up there around Marshall by The Missouri River.I think he pretty much lives on the water when the fish are biting and it's a little warmer out.
Those Catalpa worms make pretty good bait but I don't have any trees near me,I see a few in yards around some of the towns here.I've seen the worms like that in the hybrid poplar tree also,I believe it's the same worm anyway.
Just jump right in here and make yourself at home.

Well, I DON'T believe in Catch & Release ( so kick me :-) ! LOL!! ( The only bad part about the bass tourneys. ) There's just something about catching a nice big cat....the thought of turning him loose just isn't gonna happen; unless it's to swim in a big ol' skillet ! ! And I've used just about every nasty catfish bait there is, and then some....butttttttt, I've never had a hankering to taste any of it. oooo-eeeee---YUCK ! :-P
