Seen some pics of the flood gate release on another site. LOT of water comeing through. Supposedly about 55,000 cfs with works out to about 375,000 gallons a second. Supposedly double that is comeing in upper truman still yet. Some of them pics showed some nice hybrids and cats being caught as well. heavy gear and rig heavy as there's one he!! of a current below the dam. White water boys n girls. Water levels about half way up the stairs there in the channel. Some of the campgrounds are closed, all the swimming beachs and only three boat ramps on the whole lake are open. 24 feet above normal pool.
More water to come in from up around KC. One lake is supposedly holding theirs because of all the water comeing down, still yet to release it into truman. So the water will be up awhile. LOT of logs at the dam and floating around in the lake. They reccomend NO skiing or jetskis.

Happy ta reeport that Truman is droppin in my parta th world. We trotlined right up ta th second day it dropped, an acourse th catfishin dropped too. At's ok tho. We had a great time an caught just enuff fish ta keep it iterstin. Got ta spend time with m'son Doug, who is m'number one fishin buddy, and his yunguns. We had a boatload at times, but I hope they remember it as long as I will, which'll be fer th resta m'life! Even took donkey with us once. I had a good time fishin in th backwater an all that, but I think I just as soon see th rivers back in th banks agin. Years ago, ya had ta fish fast when th water got out cause 3 or 4 days was bout as long as ya had. Now it's just a bigger lake, mostly
