Still catchin a few blues an channel on troline. And I hear of a few bein caught on r&r. Weather has been way too nice ta pull th lines, so far, but I bet this stuff movin in this mornin'll cause regret fer that decision. I swear ta quit if I hafta break more'n 3 inches of ice ta git ta th lines!

There might not be 3 inches of ice on the lake but it would be mighty cold out there today for running lines. It is 21* at my house right now. That is a long way from the 71* last night about 6:00pm when I was in Lebanon. It was sleeting when I came home about 11:00 lastnight.I would say there is about an inch of ice out there right now.If it starts snowing now it might accumulate pretty quick at this temperature.

Still as th water is, it may be ice over 1 end of each of our lines. With all the sleet and freezin rain, I know dern well we cain't git down, or even to th boat ramp. If we got down, we couldn't git back up it! We goofed. That's all there is to it! Shuckey dern!

Well you never know when you take a gamble how it will turn out, sometimes it pays off, sometimes it don't.I think it will warm back up in a few days. How warm I don't know,it wouldn't need to be very warm to be quite an improvement...

This cold weather ought to make the fish taste even better, considering what they went through to get them.Glad to see you back on here Hoot,I thought maybe you had froze into a popsicle out there.

Can't take her along cause of th cold right now, an I know she hates it! If it was turned around, I'd probly git all jealous and refuse ta cook th fish. I'm glad ta say she ain't that way. She fried up a mess fer me an donkey an her t'other nite, an it was larrypin' good! We're sposeta have perty good weather here th next few days. Be nice ta git in some r&r fishin. Ain't been fer a coupla months. Like jtrew said once, ya sure can find out about an area of water good with a trotline!
