Growing up on the Gasconade River was alot of fun for me.We had lots of good places to fish and swim.It is a very lazy,long crooked river that flows through the Ozarks,Starting in Webster and Wright counties and eventuallyfinding it's way to the Missouri River near Jeff City.Below is a good link I found for a little info on the Gasconade.Hope you all get a chance to fish it soon. Sounds like there is a lot of fish in what i hear from friends that have been there. Have to go there sometime.

Gasconade (middle, Pulaski Co.): 84 degrees, falling, dingy; black bass and goggle-eye fair on soft plastic lures and nightcrawlers; channel catfish fair on nightcrawlers and chicken liver. (Report made on 7/19/2006)
Gasconade (upper): 82 degrees, low, dingy; all species slow. (Report made on 7/19/2006)
