All blues, or whitecat, as we call'em round here. Runnin bout a 5-6 lb average. Biggest 2 so far 13 and 12. Best catchin around 8 am. Cutbait. Got a friend that did a lot better yesterday; but it ain't up ta me ta report about it!

I'll be anxious to get back out and try again.I haven't been in about 2 weeks.Everyone around here is in on vacation and I aint about to fight the crowd.Things should settle back down this next week I hope and folks go back to the city or wherever they came from.

If this comin weather pattern don't get carried away, th rivers an lakes might git back closer ta normal too. Am sure hopin ta do some serious catchin afore that happens!

Biggest one last nite,26 lb. Had 8 between us. Tonites biggun weighed 12; had 12 fish. Still averaging bigger than earlier this year. Those were in the channel; these are in 22' of backwater. Storm bout got us on th water tonite. Water got a little rough.

Ok, if y'all don't wanta play, I'll play by m'self! (Wolfie, I said by; not with) Fishin's GREAT!!! We had 12 on today. 38, 20, 15, 10, and a host of others. Not bad fer a coupla hill boys. Had a devil of a time gittin'em. Bout a half acre of drift was coverin th best producing line. Took over an hour just ta git th crap towed an pushed off th toppa th line. Had ta cut it in th middle an come in from both ends. That's gittin yer supper th hard way. Gotta git offa here. S'dern tired Bout ta fall on th keyboard. Night all!
