Somewhere in the dim past, maybe in another place, there was mentioned the possibility that catfish might follow trails. Donkey seems to be proving this lately. Any of the rest of ya got any comments on the subject? I've seen the fish, and even seen him catch one of'em, and the devil of it is; he told me before we went where he'd catch. Then he done it!

Just kinda like ...."Cow Tippin". Someday when (or if) the water ever comes back up, I'd like to take a sonar out an look at them cow trails. see if theres any noticable depth change to em. Dont peer to be much from the bank. Mite be unseeable to us humans. But I am perty convinced, they're there. Just like a cow path leadin out to pasture from the barn. The cats I catch from them have an empty stomach. Just like I got em as they was commin out to graze. er, feed. The ones I've got onna bobber. Just pick it up on they're way to the bank where the baitfish are hangin out. Then figger out they got sumthin extra taggin along an freak out a bit.

It sounds reasonable to me.I catch most of my fish in the same spot each time,I had never gave much thought to them following trails but I guess that's a possibility.I've seen fish in an aquarium follow the same pattern back and forth.
