Got to go fishin with my youngest son, Doug last nite. The Osage is out of it's banks a little, so we had to hunt for the old channel. It of course is buried under Truman Lake. Sat right on the lip; one side 5 or 6 ft, the other side 25ft. Caught 2 blues about 6 or 7 lb in the channel, and 1 blue about 4 lb on the flat behind us. Lotta big fish on top early, but they disappeared about 9pm. We were home by midnite, and colder than a bad marriage! Can't begin to tell ya how good it is to enjoy this special time like this, but if ya got kids or GOOD friends, ya already know!

River alot,The middle Son lives in KC Ks.so he has the MO. + Ks.river to fish and the youngest lives in Lebanon. He has a new(about 2 yrs.) wife and a 1yr old little one and another one due in 2 weeks so he doesn't get to fish much.
Sounds like you had a good time.I'm glad to hear ya'll got to fish.
