Seen a picture of some new style of hooks on the web today. They looked like somebody done took a pair of pliers to either a kayle or a circle. I forget what they was called. Anybody else see'em or try'm?

I don't know if they're offset or not. Called Sickle Hooks. Can't deetermine if that's a brand or just a style. Ain't done a lot of reserch at it. They look like a fish has strightened 'em out and they been pliered back into shape poorly.

I found this about them:
The Sickle Hook is the fastest growing used hook among all types of anglers. The corner design of this hook is engineered for total strength while setting the hook. Especially with today's braided lines, fluorocarbons, copolymers and super mono lines. The engineering doesn't stop at strength. Once the Sickle Hook is set, it is hard for the fish to slip off due to cornered design of the hook. A cross between a worm hook and ewg with the culmination of a years research in the shank section of this hook. The benefit, to cut down on fish thrown hooks. The constant curvature toward the hookpoint also allows this hook to be extremely weedless by design. Made from a light wire they work well on all mono lines.
