LoL! I guess that's what you would call it.Supposed to only be in the mid 90s for a few days and maybe even dipping down to the high 80s on Sunday. This heat is something,I have tried to stay out of it as much as possible but it was 103 in the shade yesterday so there isn't much getting away from it.Dad had a small shower down at his house this morning but it didn't amount to much.Wolfie, did you get any of it over your way? On the bright side the grass ain't growing very fast...

Not only is th grass not growing; trees an shrubs are dying or at least losing leaves, etc. I was dryer than this over a lot longer time in recent years around here, but not with these temps for this long. I reckon th only way ta cure th fihin fever that's bildin up is ta go at nite. Been tryin to avoid that cause Hoot don't care ta fish when she cain't see 'er line.

Get one of them Led headlights. Get one with a spot, flood and red light, their the real deal.
Have'nt seen a rain since about July 2nd around here. Supposed to get down around the mid 90's which is still about 5 degrees above average. Chance of rain for the next 4 or 5 days. Could use a good rain but unless it's a slow soaker most of it is going to run right off. All that early spring rain aint doing much good now. Kinda right back where we were or worse in the drought.
