Got to find me a gun mounted light. Guess the dillers is a learning. Last one or two i spotlighted they started off in the opposite direction from the light. Guess i missed one or two to many early on. It's hard to hold a spotlight and shoot at the same time with a scoped rifle. I could find some id just get me some #2 .410's Rain aint helped much. Makes the leaves to damp to be noisey enough to hear the rooting lil vermin. Thermal imageing probably would'nt help a lot as their kinda cold blooded like a sneaky snake. Reg night vision would'nt be much help either as their dirty gray color makes em blend in real well. They blend in pretty well even in a 5 million candle power spotlight...lol

Lil bassturds annoy the dogs and annoy me. They tear up the forrest floor, dig dens and just make a general nuisance of themselves. I get a few bucks ahead im going to get one of them rifle mounted spotlights and really make their lives short and miserable. Wish i could find some BB buckshot for the 20 ga or some #2 shot for the 410. The 22 mag is quieter and don't tell everyone where im at or what im doing. But the scatterguns would make them snapshots a lot easier. ;D

Well boys n girls spring is defintely here. First copperhead of the year in the yard. The dog that got snakebit last year took a real exception to the snake being in her vicinity. Poor lil 12-14 inch thing did'nt have much of a second chance after it crawled out of her reach and i accidentaly kicked it back within her reach. Accidents do happen you know. Wonder how many will come to visit this year? I still think there's a copperhead highway through the middle of the front yard. Stupid d@mn things. That or their still attracted to Amber.

I haven't seen any yet this spring but I haven't been down to the farm since it warmed up good yet either.I've seen a few snakes here but they are mostly black snakes and Racers.I "accidentally" dropped a rock on the head of a racer that tried to chase me in the yard the other day when I was mowing. I don't like any snakes myself poison or not.I'm not sure if the racers up here on this side of the lake are the blue racers like down at the farm or the gray racers like they have in the northern part of the state. The ones I find in my yard though have their racin/chasin days behind them.

Almost like trot, limb and jug liners on katmasters...lol Made a post over there in duanes lil poll. Guess duane did'nt like it and his own rules don't apply to him as to 'being civil.' Got nasty with me. Started to call him Paul Jr but figured id at least stay civil. Place is getting more like the catchers of bait site everyday. Guess me offering a couple of sites via PM to liners tired of getting slammed did'nt set well with him either. Hell if they don't want em, let em go. Idjit. Id like to have a trotline or some limblines out right now. You could catch some baby copperheads, water moccasins ect we would have some good bait whiskers.

;D I seen your post over there earlier,I started to make a post myself but I changed my mind after I typed it and just moved on.Seems like he has made several threads just for the purpose of stirring trouble. For someone who seems to not like set lines he sure starts alot of threads about who does it and what bait do they use, etc. He seems to do alot of trolling and not for fish.

I thought it was funny him haveing a months time on me for joining then i did'nt post at all for like 3 or 4 months and i still had 100 posts on him for all his 'site support.' Yeah for being part of management he does seem to be very opinonated and starts a lot of stuff. Like i said over there, guess his 'be civil' reccomendations/rules don't apply to him. What an arsehole. I have'nt been back, probably wont except to check PM's. I beleive John went over and stirred the fire a bit after i politely told him off. If i reccollect correctly he was part of the reason so many up and moved soon after most of us went over there. God it gets so old seeing the rod n reel C&R pureist putting down the liners as lessor fishermen. Got a d@mn zoo going on out here. While feeding the dogs i get a half grown feral cat sneaking in like he was going to try and get some dogfood. Gun was in the house when he was standing 10 feet away looking at me in the spotlight. I take the pup out to do his buisness awhile ago and there's a big arsed mouse setting on top of the rockpile for the bar-n-q in the front yard again. Sets there and looks at me. I think it's half what Jojo barks at of a night. Dillos have been scarce the last couple days while it's been chilly. Guess their staying down in the bottoms or not moveing as much with it cold. Lil cold blooded nuisances. No more snakes either lately. Figured id run onto a couple more. Get a young one like the first one you usualy end up finding 3 or 4. Course they could be hideing in the leaves. Or under your boat seats! Think ill take the kids pellet rifle and go hunt me a mouse here in a bit. Dog killed the rat crawling up on top of the bronco motor a couple weeks back. Now it's mousies turn. As a side note mousetraps are good in the house for mice, though they don't think so. Their not really good for pups with inquisitive noses sniffing out cheese though. Lil bugger got nipped.

Dayum Diggin Dillers must a went back into hibernation with this cold rainy weather. Have'nt seen shell nor hair of any for about a week. Nuther d@mn snake in the yard though. Right out with Jojo again, they must like her. Makes two copperheads in about 4 days. Them and the dillers must be in collusion with the slither folk takeing up the slack for the prehistoric possums when it's rainy n cold. Stupid things.

Maybe if we're lucky someone will start eating the ones we have, they sure are getting thick.I still have a hard time adjusting to the idea they are here.I was walking through some woods one night recently and stepped on ones tail and it jumped up about 3 feet in the air and scared the crap outta me.I didn't see it until it was too late.LoL

Kill em! Kill em ALL! Their still staying scarce will it's rainy and cold. Least wise i can't hear em in the leaves to find em when the dogs raise cain. So im amuseing myself with mouse safaris with amber in the rock pile. Seems a family of mice have taken up residance in a rock pile i got in the front yard for a bar-b-q to be built. Lil red headlights and a BB gun and the hunts on. Bagged two so far. #3 is being obstinate.
