OK I know we have talked some music before but it is raining outside and I'm bored.lol I listen to all types of music but my favorite is the blues.I like most all blues from 1930s Robert Johnson to Elmore James,BB king,Muddy Waters,Lightning Hopkins,Howlin Wolf to Stevie Ray,Eric Clapton,Zepplin, and more Modern Blues of today.I go to alot of Blues Festivals when I have the chance and I like to go to Memphis and hit Beale Street and the clubs. I know Tbone likes the blues anyone else out there.

Rock n Roll, Heavy Metal, Blues, Classical, Some New Wave a Lil Disco, Lot of Bluegrass, some Country. Just depends on who's doing it and the tone of the music. Just can't really get into the 'i lost my wife, wrecked my truck n married my horse' stuff to much...lol I do love a good ballad though.

I like good Gospel too.My Mom and her 2 sisters do alot of the Trio's stuff (Dolly Parton,Emmy Lou Harris,Linda Rondstat). I like alot of new hard rock also, I have been listining to Black Stone Cherry(Lonely Train),Buckcherry(Crazy b!tch) Black Label Society(Crazy or High). I also like Great Caesar's Ghost,it is G.E. Smith who used to play guitar and be leader of the Saturday Night Live Band.He has put together a new band and they have a live album out of some good 70s rock cover songs. They do an excellent version of Tied To The Whippin' Post the old Allman Brothers song, and a good version of My Uncle and Me,the Greatful Dead tune.

Speakin of swamp music,I wonder what ever happened to Doug Kershaw?I used to love to watch him play.He could really put on a show. You get down around Nawlins'(New Orleans) it's hard to beat some Dr.John. I really like his piano playing and raspy voice to match.
