I just read a thread on another board that there have 'supposedly' been three reports of a 5 foot Gator swimming around in Lake of the Ozarks around the 70 mile marker? Piranahs in smithville now gators in LOZ...lol

Supposedly Ron knows the guy who dumped two gators or knows a guy who knew the guy that dumped them...supposedly. Post that in big black letter in the camden chronicle or one of the other papers down there as well as on the news and see how fast the tourist boating and swimming dries up...lol Wonder if the guys 'over there' would want to practice catch n release on something as small as 5 feet?

I know (or just met rather) a guy in Lebanon who had one about a foot long a couple months ago.He had some pretty good scratches on his nose where he found out you don't nuzzle em like a puppy, even if it is a small gator.

Well ive heard the rumors from 5 or 6 guys now in the area. Believeable enough i e-mailed a buddy of mine in the MDC and passed along what info i had so they could investigate it. Don't be surprised if you start seeing some MDC boats cruiseing of a night looking for eye shine around the 70mm...lol

These were supposed to be first hand accounts from the second person...lol A gator in MO is'nt hard to believe with all the other crap thats been turned loose here. Piranahs in smithville lake for instance. Other non native species that have been turned loose, the odd moneky or snake ect. Burmease pythons are turing into a real big problem in the everglades in florida from all of them thats got to big and been turned loose by their owners. The florida DNR is starting to hunt them down with dogs trained to smell em out.
Arkansas's had gators for years, ever since the early 80's. The arkansas DNR trade for them and turned them loose in some of the backwater areas to try and lower an explodeing muskrat and beaver problem. Now they got gators, beavers and muskrats...lol
