i have a hobby other than fishing. i build rustic furrniture. some of it is free form log furniture and some is cowboy style ranch furniture. heres the kicker . when i was a kid in oklahoma i remeber being fascinated with the tv commercials for silver dollar city. i use to think it would be cool to do that kind of work for a living. the cool part is that i never thought about it much after i got older and not long after i moved to missouri i met a guy with a sawmill and not long after we met we started building furniture together. so tell me do any of you folks do similar stuff . by the way God is good.

My Dad likes doing stuff like that.He will peel the strips off a hickory and make the old kitchen chairs with the woven seats. He does alot of different woodwork.I like doing that but at the moment I don't have a shop here to work in so I still have most of my tools in storage since I moved up here.

I like doing thnigs with my hands, wood or metal working. Im going to get me a shop setup when i can afford it. Put my wood working tools in. Id love to have a smithy as well for metal work, fish gigs, ornaments ect. One of these days maybe. Used to make a lot of bird houses and bird feeders ect when i was younger. Got a few blue ribbons from local, regional and the state fair...lol Be nice to make it into a small buisness.
