i have been useing my boat alot lately. i am really enjoying it. i haave been takeing a couple of guys trout fishing on the weekends. the boat is doing a real good job out on the trout stream. my wife and kid and i went camping before the 4th and had a couple of good outings in the boat. the 15 hp 4 stroke merc is doing a good job pusshing the boat. i would rate ffuel consumption somewhere between very good to excellent.

I'm glad to hear it is doing a good job for you.I am happy with my Richline as well. They do a pretty good job. I'll bet your 4 stroke does do very well on gas,I may get me one,one of these days.

i am pretty impressed with the 4 stroke . i have owned and operated a lot of 2 strokes and the 4 is much more fuel efficent. at idle it purs like a kitten. its a great motor for trolling for white bass aand such as that. i still haavent got over the sticker shock though, but then it seems everything is overpriced from gas to grocieries to a dozen night crawlers.

Their about twice as big as a 2 stroke to looks like to me. Looked at a 25 horse 4 stroke at bass pro and thought 'no way that thing would ride on the transom of my boat!'
