Well I went fishing today and ended up working to get my motor running right more than I got to fish.It acts like it is sucking air but I can't find a pinhole in my fuel line.It starts and idles fine but when I put it in gear it starves out on fuel above trolling speed.I can pull the choke out and it runs fine.I guess I will have to pull the carb off and check it out.

You check the gas lines just from the tank to the motor or the small lines on the motor themselves? Mine acted up like that awhile back and i had a small crack in one of the lines on the motor.

I did a visual check on the small ones.I will pull them off and check them out good tomorrow. My inline filter was clear too but I haven't pulled the sediment bulb off the motor yet.It has to be something simple it ran good when I parked it last fall. This spring I cleaned my tank out and put in fresh gas.I had been out a couple times but hadn't tried to open it up I had just idled it across the cove and fished a couple times so I hadn't noticed it wasn't running right till time before this.

Mine liked ta drove me nuts last year. Put new hose ends on and it still done it. Noticed gas around the guage bracket. Think the gasket skrank and cracked. I quit using it til I can get another. The motor seems to run fine on the other gas tank.

That reminds me critter. I had a similar problem and found a pinhole in the gasket under the handle/gauge on top of the tank. Had to take the whole thing apart and redo the gasket.

Was'nt but just a pinhole on mine, enough to lose pressure. I did'nt find it until i left the tank set in the sun pumped up to where it got hot and it started to seep. Smelled gas stronger then usual and watched a buble come up out of the side of it. was'nt but a tiny lil thing but it was a pain in the arse to fix. That tank still don't hold pressure right.
