Lowe 16' wide jon. 25 horse evinrude electric start. Clamp on swivel seats came with it used, and I keep'em for entertainment! Got some wood in the floor that helps with the noise. Just made some of those "Drifter-Style" rod-holders using 4' pvc pipe, I need to get mounted on it. Got some headlights from Donkey, but I don't have them mounted either. I intend ta mount a raised swivel seat on the front deck, but they are in the way for trotlining. I'll do'er soon as I figger out how ta make it movable.

14 foot Lowe lake Jon with a 10 horse Johnson. Whiskers needs to sell me that 25 horse johnson he aint useing...lol About a 40lb trolling motor on it will make it scoot. Wood floor, two cushioned swivel seats, rod holders. Works well for catfishing though i wish it was about an 18-20 footer for the larger lakes. Got a 14 foot lowe river Jon with a 6 horse johnson i like to use shooting carp and running limb lines. Got to get a trailer rigged up for it.

i have a 16 ft richline with a new 15 hp merc . ele. start 4 stroke. its the first 4 stroke outboard i have owned . it pushes the boat ok but it takes a bit to get wound up. it is whisper quiet though. i like a deep vee for trot lines . i also like it for juglines . in a month when the weather gets hot ill be trollin for crappie . and next weekend i think im trollin for rainbows. i guess you say the boat i have is a multi species meat getter.

Ive got a pontoon boat, bass buggy with a 40hp merc. Wife loves it. Its not as bad as I thought it would be for fishing. Biggest problem is the d@mn wind blows it alover. Thinking about getting a 16 jon boat with 25+ hp for shallow lake use as well as general use. What do ya think? Is it big enough for lake use? Hows the ride going to be?

I see alot of jon boats on the lake around me.It should work OK if your not in big water with alot of waves.I won't even think about getting my 16' semi V down in the big part of the lower lake but with all the cigar boats and BIG boats down there I wouldn't want to be down there anyway. My brother-in-law has a Bass Buggy with a 40 merc and it works pretty good here but like you say the wind blows it around pretty bad.We use 2 anchors on it though and it does fair.

He decides to sell it i want first dibs if the price is decent...lol
Sinker, Dayum Diggin Dillers can swim. BUT, their more likely to hold their breath and walk across the bottom of the creek/river then swim it if it's not real big. Don't need them lil bassturds makeing the Lowe act like a U-Boat...lol
They been kinda scarce the last couple of nights. Either i put a scare into them, they don't move near as much when it's cooler or me n the dogs just can't hear em rooting in the leaves like a bunch of miniture hawgs

Sounds like it would be worth the money,if the motor runs OK you wouldn't get hurt on it.
