Hello All I've been real busy since I got back from the MO fishing trip the first of the month. Lots of water going into and outa Pomme and lots of strong wind and some storms made for difficult fishing. I did try (for the first time) Carolina rigging for bass. I don't know why I never tried it before but it works great. Even works in a strong wind. It was my most productive method and my first time trying it. I used a Yamamato twin tail grub on a worm hook on a 2 foot leader. Caught bass and walleye. Didn't seem like it took much skill to catchem. Also its not the most fun way to fish. I will always have a rod rigged this way from now on. Any of you tried this method? Any tips for making me even more productive? Hope you all are enjoying the summer, winter will be here before we know it!

I don't have any tips but I use this rig myself.I don't fish for bass much but when I'm out and waiting on the catfish to bite,I usually have a pole rigged up this way to fish.I usually use a 24-30 inch leader and a lizzard(plastic) for bait.It seems to work pretty well and I like the slower pace it allows you to use.
