im going on vacation at the end of next week . i am going to target fla. pompano during the day . but at night im on the hunt for shark from the surf. i have caught a lot of fish but never a shark . im studied up but any input would be appreciated if you have been there done that.

I dunno bout catchin em, But i do know bout eatin em. I et some fixed onna grill a few years ago. caught by a local feller.
Not bad, but dont compare with catfish. I'd prolly even eat them old nasty crappie fore Iwould shark.
Meybe the fixer had sumthin to do with it.

heres what i know about fixin shark . as soon as you catch em you clean em. they produce uric acidaand if you wait very long to clean em they will aperantly taste like u well piss. a buddy of mine told me to just fillet him down the back without cutting into the gut cavity and throw the rest back for chum. ha i just realized some day some shark lover will read this and flame me for being cruel or something.

lol ! at least u wasn't talkin bout blackfin shark,they cut off the fins and through the rest back.

well no sharks. i fished for sharks 2 nights off the peir at panama city . i had one run for about 10 seconds . only seen one shark on the hole trip . it was about a 9 ft nurse shark just off the beach at panama city. the hunt continues.
