my favorite time to catch crappie is comeing up.Summertime. on beaver lake in the heat of july and august you can troll deep diveing crankbaits or drift minnows 12 to 14 ft deep over the main lake channels. this produces very nice slab crappie. the one thing that is a must during this time is an ice chest to keep the fish in . the surface temps on beaver have aproache 90 degrees the last few years and this makes the crappies flesh mushy if you try to keep them in a live basket or on a stringer. i am wondering if this same technique works on table rock.

I'm not sure but I bet my bro-in-law would.He lives on them crappie outta table rock.He also fishes alot on stockton andthe pomme arm of truman.
