We three braved the storms last night. Hadda few bites an bout got my pole jerked in the water. (see first of the last pics in my photo album) Prolly wernt one of the smartest things we ever did. Lightning an wind an rain and thunder boomin all round. I suggested we clean the lil fishy on Hoots ironin board (where it was dry). She still threatens bodily harm

Went Monday night/tueday mornin. Cawt a five pound blue. Went by an shared with Sinker an Hoot. Was bout 3am when they started gettin active. Thinkin just stayin home till bout then.
Gettin ta be bout "fire on the bank" season. Gotta keep them fingers thawed out.
Thinkin on havin a spare pole set up for heavin out when I find a school thats hittin. Takin the fish off an stringin it up, etc. takes too long an the herd goes on by. Thinkin if I had one ready to bait an throw right back out while I'm dickerin around with the fish mite increase my chances of gettin another fish quicker.
cept I'm gonna havta get another reel or two. Have trashed a couple old closed face reels in the last couple weeks. guess they wernt made for heavy use. Goin level wind for most all fishin. Will keep a closed face for when the kids from work go with me.
Till next time.......

It mite serve you well. Remember, I got two when you got that one. Cept i used em dang near everry night last summer an most all the spring this year. I prolly used em more in the last year than most do in several years. Last spring I had seven poles I could fish with. Now I have bout two and a half. The button on the zebco is actin up now. Will prolly get me another Zebco for bobber and/or kid fishin an go Levelwind for all else.
