I used to like coon hunting but I haven't been in about 20 years.I used to run alot of traps years ago but I haven't done that in years either.I need to get my traps out and soak them in some walnut hull mixture i figure they are getting rusty.
I wonder what pelts are bringing now days?

Pelts around here are less than 15 bucks. Matters who buys them and how big the pelts are. Our lowest sold pelt last year was 5 bucks and it was a 13 pound coon. the biggest was 26 pounds, and 17 bucks. that was a lucky one.

Actualy you just go ahead and hunt em with the truck and hit em first. Then call the local agent and he will give you a tag for the deer. If you lucky your insurance company will cover the repairs...if your lucky...lol
Need to get my landowner tags n clares. Then buy a couple of deer tags so i can hunt elsewhere...lol

IT'S NOT VERY SPORTIE TO RUN OVER A DEER WITH YOUR CAR, THATS WHAT ALL THOSE FOOLS FROM THE CITY DO ALL SUMMER. USE A BOW, A GUN, OR JUST THROW ROCKS, BUT DON'T HIT THEM WITH YOUR CAR, THAT WOULD BE, " DEER SLATTER."
